I have medical assisstance, and am planning on going to the U of MN Dental School. Does anyone know if dental schools use sedation dentistry?
I have trouble sitting through a regular dental appt, and the school appts are 2x as long. I know why, I just don’t think I can sit thru an appt there w/out something to knock me out.

When I am at the appointment, I get even more scared and i’ve had a panic attack. I’ve been reading people’s experiences with sedation dentistry and it sounds like the way to go for me. I am also aware that it does cost more, but my question is how much more? As I stated before, I need around 2,000 dollars of work done, so approximately how much would that be if I took the sedation route?

Is this really as good as it seems? Are you actually asleep the entire time, or just drowsy and relaxed?
